I'm Jess, the heart and soul behind our cozy salon in Hammond Park. So, who am I? Well, I’m an honest and genuine friend, a dedicated and loving wife, a proud fur mum, and a passionate business owner. My husband and I moved into our dream home and got married this year, and now we’ve added another fur baby to our Dash clan! 🐶🐕🐈 You can follow their adventures on @daisy.and.archie__dash.

I was actually born in Italy and moved to Perth with my family when I was 12. My high school years were spent in the hills at St. Brigid’s College. After graduation, I found myself dabbling in uni studies while working my way up in a Bakers Delight uniform! #breadwinner? 😉

I explored various fields, pursuing degrees in Psychology, Marketing, and Tourism, but eventually realised that those paths weren’t meant for me. 🙅🏼‍♀️ Instead, I focused on gaining valuable experience in management while figuring out where my true passion lay.

By the end of 2017, I was juggling part-time beauty school, full-time bakery management, and a casual job at a beauty salon. I sure do love challenging myself! 😵‍💫 Fast forward to the end of 2021, and I had successfully managed two skin clinics and developed an unwavering desire to create a business that was truly my own. 🔥 That’s when The Gold Standard Beauty and Skin was born.

My vision was to build a business centered around long-term client care, using only the best products, and providing an authentic and personalised experience for each and every client. If you know me, you know I can’t help but keep it 💯 real and genuine. I’m not here to simply make money. My recommendations are always based on long-term gains, and I strive to educate and consider all aspects before making them. I genuinely value the individual relationships I have with each of my clients and love providing a safe space for them to vent, laugh, nap, cry, or simply sit in silence.
