DermaFix Conditioning Alkaline Wash is a multifaceted product with a unique formulation that raises the pH of the skin from a normal acidic pH value of 5.5 to the opposite end of the pH scale resulting in an alkaline pH of 12. This causes an immediate swelling of the outer cellular layers.
Alkaline Wash can be used for a number of conditions, including ingrown hairs, acne, milia, rosacea, fine lines, deep wrinkles, sun damage, scarring, and stretch marks. It is also effective for hair removal and removing congested hair follicles, such as those that cause folliculitis.
TGS has control over how much skin is dissolved during the treatment. Because it is not discriminatory as to the type of dead protein it dissolves, hair is also dissolved during the process.
